Please forward these to your Cleared and Delivered agent as soon as you can to expedite the customs clearance process.

Corporate Power of Attorney

Commercial invoice- for your freight, showing date of purchase, manufacturer’s name and address, and a line item by line item cost breakdown. Should include the price you paid to the seller, manufacturer.

Packing List- of your freight. Please provide dimensions, with units, in length x width x height for each item being imported. Also please provide weight per-piece being shipped.

Bill of Lading–  ( For OCEAN freight only ) Master BL and House BL . These are typically clearly labeled, and have information such as item weight, volume, shipment data, and information on who the consignee, notify party, and shipper are. Note, the master bill of lading and house bill of lading are 2 separate documents.

Airway Bill–  AWB or MAWB ( For AIR freight only ) These are typically clearly labeled with what air carrier the freight is being flown in on. Also contains information such as item weight, volume, shipment data, and information on who the consignee, notify party, and shipper are.

Arrival Notice– This will be received approximately 5 days prior to shipment arrival to America, and will be visibly titled “Arrival Notice/Freight Invoice.”

• FDA/EPA/USDA/DOT/- Your operations specialist may ask for documents needed for specific compliance with various government agencies. Please respond to all requests promptly, as an  other government agency hold can delay your freight and cause extra demurrage charges to be incurred by the importer of record.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-bolt” add_icon=”true” title=”ISF Filing Documents” tab_id=”isfdocs1″][vc_column_text]ISF data sheet- ISF data is typically provided by the shipper/forwarder who organized your shipment. If you have not received an ISF data sheet, simply ask us and we can provide a workbook to complete.

Bill of Lading- This document is given to you by the shipping line or ocean carrier. It contains info on the voyage, vessel, container data, origin, destination, departure and arrival schedule for your cargo. Contains important tracking info as well.

Power of Attorney- Complete our USCBP Power of Attorney form. Your sales specialist will have provided you with a link to access electronically. Note, for businesses, this form must be signed by an officer of the company- i.e. President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary

If you filed as a company we need IRS Backup info- Please provide backup of your importer number.

-If you have opted to use an IRS EIN/TaxID number as your importer number, we’ll need a copy of communication directly from the IRS which shows the same EIN/TaxID, business name, and address as was entered into your POA form.

Drivers license/passport or government issued ID-If you are an individual using your social security number as your importer number, we will need a drivers license/passport or government issued ID showing the same name and address as entered into your POA form

• Commodity Info– we need to know the “essential character” of the product you are importing. For ISF, you are welcome to simply write a detailed description of what you are importing.

• Importer Contact Info– please advise us of the best telephone number, email address, and mailing address to reach you at. Drivers license/passport or government issued ID-If you are an individual using your social security number as your importer number, we will need a showing the same name and address as entered into your POA form

SS# or corporate EIN Tax ID- Please provide backup reference of your importer number ie SS# or company EIN Tax ID. Typically this can be a letter from IRS thats shows you are the rightful owner of the business/corporation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_tabs][/vc_column][/vc_row]
